The Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) is an exceptional plant with a broad range of positive effects on our health, especially on the immune and digestive systems.

Its natural habitats are situated across China, Mongolia, Nepal and India. Nowadays, it is commonly planted in all of Europe because of its positive effects and has spread also to other regions of Asia. The Sea Buckthorn is often called a plant of the future or the Lemon of the North thanks to its high vitamin C content. A broad range of bioactive substances can be found in the whole plant, the most significant of which are group B vitamins, provitamin A, tocopherols, vitamins D and A, beta-carotene and many other substances beneficial to human body.

In addition to boosting the immunity system and digestion, it helps keep a healthy skin and has a favourable influence on the functions of the heart, ocular and oral mucous membranes, and on hair gloss.
