Bladderwrack is a green-brown to brown seaweed that is found in the surf area, in the shallows of the North and Baltic Seas, on the shores of protective structures, dikes and pillars down to a depth of 5 m. It is a rich source of iodine, which drives the thyroid gland. In addition, this seaweed also supports energy metabolism.
